Felix Romero was a minor internet personality known for dance videos and rooftop selfies when a stunt involving CRISPR-modified fruit and a biotech fog machine fused his DNA with that of Drosophila melanogaster, the common fruit fly, granting him flight, hyper-speed reflexes, and an unpredictable metabolism. Rather than hide, Felix rebranded as Fruit Fly, a winged daredevil known for extreme stunts and viral livestreams. His blend of danger and flamboyance earned him a massive following. Operating as both hero and villain, he calls his actions “heroicfluid”, a modern Robin Hood taking from the rich and giving to the poor.
