Joshua 1:9 Holley is an artist, writer, teacher, and musician based in Rincon, Georgia. His creative work combines a lifelong love of comics, cartoons, and pop culture with his Christian faith. He is the creator of Word Weirdos, a series of trading cards designed to help children memorize Bible verses, and he and his wife have also created humorous Bible-story adaptation comics for children’s ministry through Holleyhouse Productions.

Outside G-Man Comics, Joshua has produced illustration and comics work for Lucky Comics, Kingdom Comics, and Empire Comics Lab. His projects have included work on Bridge for Kingdom Comics and Kardos with Dennis Miller for YEET Presents. His work reflects the influence of the comics, animation, and popular culture he grew up with in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, while maintaining his personal creative mission: “My number one goal is to be CREATIVE FOR CHRIST!”

Joshua’s association with G-Man Comics began early in the company’s development. He created artwork for the G-Man Comics letter-page header and helped establish the final visual design of Ariel-51. He quickly expanded into sequential storytelling and has since become a regular contributor to the G-Man Universe.

His G-Man Comics work includes G-Men United, G-Men Undercover, G-Man Comics Christmas Special, Lynx, Sgt. Flag, Simon N. Kirby: The Agent, Invictus: Outrage!, and G-Man Comics 3in1. For G-Man Comics Christmas Special #2, Joshua provided the interior art as well as the main and variant covers. His current work includes G-Men United #8, featuring Fruit Fly’s battle with People’s Hero in Miami, for which he is providing interior art and a cover.
