Dennis Mallonee is the founder of Heroic Publishing. Best known for writing the Champions and League of Champions comic series, Mallonee has spent more than four decades building a vast, interconnected superhero universe.

His career began with work on The Champions for Eclipse Comics in 1986, based on the popular role-playing game from Hero Games. He later established Heroic Publishing to continue those adventures and introduce a diverse roster of characters, including Flare, Lady Arcane, the Black Enchantress, and Liberty Girl.

A graduate of the California Institute of Technology with a degree in economics, Mallonee balances his creative storytelling with a background in custom database programming. His work reflects classic superhero sensibilities and has contributed to one of the industry’s long-running independent continuities.

For G-Man Comics, Mallonee co-wrote Sgt. Flag #8, guest-starring Flare.
