Samir Simão is a professional comic book penciler and inker from São José dos Campos, Brazil, with years of experience in independent comics for publishers including Antarctic Press, Blood Moon Comics, Broken Face Comics, Insane Comics, Killer Comics, Mythos Comics, Never Static Pictures, Pocket Jacks Comics, and Scout Comics. His published work includes sequential art and covers for titles such as Anarchy Beyond the Walls, Children of the Rain, Days to Come, Exciting Comics, Killer Instinct, Miss Conduct, The Nobodies, Nyobi, Plainer Jane, Primal Chaos, Sh*tshow, Sweet and Saulty, Usher of the Dead, and Wannabes.
Samir has developed a substantial body of work across the international independent-comics market. His Nyobi work appeared in Antarctic Press’ Exciting Comics, and he provided both sequential art and covers for Nyobi: Birthright. He has also contributed to Crisis Vector, Ragdoll, Project: Equipt, and Bladeshot. For Plainer Jane, Samir redrew the complete series for the full-color collected edition, providing consistent sequential artwork throughout the book. More recently, he provided a cover for The Magnificent McCoys #1.
At G-Man Comics, Samir is an artist on G-Men United. He has also contributed to Endless Summer, expanding his work within the G-Man Universe beyond a single title.
