OVERVIEW

The Green Flame is a vast, galaxy-spanning coalition that functions as both a military force and governing empire, devoted to the preservation of order, balance, and the will of the Flame Eternal—a cosmic intelligence said to burn at the heart of creation.

Equal parts spiritual doctrine and military law, the Green Flame stands as a unifying authority across hundreds of systems. The Green Flame recruits individuals from across the cosmos—those who demonstrate unwavering moral clarity and the ability to channel the Flame without being consumed by it.

ORIGINS

Eons ago, a dying star collapsed into a singularity of consciousness and fire—this became known as the Flame Eternal, a sentient force of cosmic equilibrium. It reached out telepathically across space, seeking stewards to carry its will.

The first Flamebearers forged the Green Flame into a disciplined order, combining advanced energy-channeling technology with mystic teachings from the Flame Eternal itself. Over time, this evolved into a full-fledged empire with a structured hierarchy, command fleets, training academies, and even penal colonies for rogue wielders.

THE FLAMEFORCE

Green Flame operatives, called Ember-Knights, wield a personal Flamecore—a crystalline conduit that allows them to manipulate plasma-like energy, fly at interstellar speeds, phase through matter, and survive in hostile environments.

The Flamecore is bonded to the soul, and its power is directly affected by the user’s emotional and spiritual state. If corrupted by vengeance or arrogance, the Flamecore can fracture or, in rare cases, ignite the user entirely.

STURCTURE & RANKS

The High Pyre – A council of elder beings who serve as the spiritual and tactical leaders of the Flame.
Flame Wardens – Senior field commanders with authority to enforce Flame Law.
Ember-Knights – Fully trained operatives, usually assigned to individual star sectors.
Kindling Initiates – Trainees undergoing testing and meditation to attune with the Flame.
Ashborn – Former members who turned against the Flame; most are imprisoned in the Black Hearth.

PHILOSOPHY & LAW

The Green Flame promotes justice through domination of worlds deemed dangerous. Their creed emphasizes restraint, empathy, and the importance of serving the greater cosmic good—even when that good comes at personal cost. However, critics argue that the Flame’s obsession sometimes leads to inhumane decisions or neutrality in moral conflicts.

TECHNOLOGY

Flamecore Crystals – Soul-bound energy sources attuned to the Flame Eternal.
Pyre-Armor – Adaptive combat armor that responds to a user.
The Emerald Crucible – A massive mobile fortress, part shrine, part command station, currently orbiting the Bleeding Nebula.
Soulbrand Protocols – Ritual-encoded laws that prevent corruption of the Flame’s energy by external dark forces.

RELATIONS WITH EARTH

Earth has drawn attention due to the high number of meta-capable beings and unquantified cosmic anomalies. Certain Earth heroes, including Atomik Bombshell, have been found in violation of Green Flame law and there is an interstellar warrant for her arrest in connection with the massicure at the Intergalactic Tribunal.
