DENNIS MALLONEE

Dennis Mallonee is the founder of Heroic Publishing. Best known as the definitive writer of the Champions and League of Champions comic series, Mallonee has spent over four decades building a vast, interconnected superhero universe.

His career began with landmark work on The Champions for Eclipse Comics in 1986, based on the popular role-playing game from Hero Games. He later established Heroic Publishing to continue those adventures and introduce a diverse roster of iconic characters, including Flare,

Lady Arcane, the Black Enchantress, and Liberty Girl.

A graduate of the California Institute of Technology with a degree in Economics, Mallonee balances his creative storytelling with a background in custom database programming. His work is celebrated for its classic superhero sensibilities and for maintaining one of the longest-running independent continuities in the industry.
