Comic Book Coffee, number 113: Simon N. Kirby, The Agent #2, drawn & colored by Alan Faria, written by Rik Offenberger and lettered by Eric N. Bennett, published by G-Man Comics in October 2020.

G-Man Comics has been releasing some enjoyable comic books that are very much in the vein of the Silver and Bronze Age superhero stories from Marvel, featuring both slam-bang action and a nod towards real-world social & political issues. “Sting of the Murder Hornet” sees The Agent and his allies, the couple known as Lynx, dealing with a brutal white supremacist vigilante. In this scene The Agent and Lynx have coffee while discussing how to capture and unmask the Murder Hornet.

Brazilian artist Alan Faria has done illustration work for newspapers, magazines and advertising. His first published comic book work was Kato #4 from Dynamite Entertainment in 2010. Faria has also done work for Argo Comics. He is again working with writer Rik Offenberger on the upcoming Simon N. Kirby, The Agent #3 from G-Man Comics.
