HISTORY

Born following the departure of the gods of Avalorr from Vanaheim, little is known of the past of the god Belenos and his sister Belisama. All that is certain is that he is a longtime friend and foil to Taranis the Thunderlord, often offsetting the Thunderer’s dour persona with his joy of life and adventure (see Belisama, Taranis, Gods of Avalorr).

POWERS & ABILITIES

Belenos possesses the normal attributes of a god of his age and build and, as such, can lift (press) approximately 30 tons. He is extremely long-lived, though not a true immortal like the Olympians, immune to all diseases, and has flesh and bone approximately three times as dense as similar human tissue. His metabolism grants him superhuman endurance in all physical activities.

Belenos also possesses the ability to generate heat and light of near-solar intensities (approximately 93 lumens per watt of radiant flux). He can achieve temperatures sufficient to melt chromium steel virtually instantly, as well as fly at speeds approaching the speed of light.
