HISTORY

Jeffrey Schmitt was once a living weapon of deception, a carefully positioned decoy who publicly embodied the identity of Murder Hornet while the true architect, Henry Rothländer, remained hidden in the shadows. Schmitt’s role was to be seen, to draw attention, and ultimately, to take the risks Rothländer would not. That role proved fatal. Schmitt was killed by Dart & Brut as a direct consequence of operating as Murder Hornet; his death did not end his story. Unbeknownst to the world of the living, Schmitt’s corpse did not remain at rest. His body was revived by the mystic supervillain Voodoo, a practitioner of dark supernatural arts who saw potential in the fallen decoy. Through forbidden rituals, Voodoo reanimated Schmitt as her undead servant, binding his will and reshaping him into something far more terrifying than the man he once was. Now known as Zombie Hornet, Schmitt exists in a state between life and death, his identity fractured, his humanity suppressed, and his purpose no longer his own.

POWERS & ABILITIES

Zombie Hornet possesses a reanimated body that no longer relies on normal biological function. He does not tire, bleed out in a conventional sense, or feel pain as a living human would. Mystic reanimation has amplified Schmitt’s physical capabilities, granting him strength beyond his living state and making him resistant to conventional weapons. His undead condition allows him to continue functioning despite injuries that would incapacitate or kill a normal human. Zombie Hornet is magically tethered to Voodoo, limiting his autonomy. His actions are often dictated by Voodoo’s will, though fragments of his former self may occasionally surface. Schmitt retains the tactical instincts and combat training he possessed while acting as Murder Hornet’s stand-in.

WEAPONS & PARAPHERNALIA

A decayed, modified version of the Murder Hornet costume, now fused in places to his undead flesh. The suit is mystically reinforced, enhancing his durability and intimidation factor.
