HISTORY
Simone Baptiste was born into a lineage of Louisiana Voodoo practitioners, trained to respect the delicate balance between the living and the dead. That balance was never enough for her. Simone sought control. Her descent into dark magic began with the discovery of Le Livre Noir des Morts, a forbidden book of magic, that detailed rituals capable of binding death itself. In performing one such ritual, Simone tethered her soul to a powerful death entity, granting her dominion over the dead, but forever altering her humanity. Now calling herself Voodoo, she abandoned all restraint and began building an army. Her first major act against the G-Men was the resurrection of Zombie Hornet, reanimating the fallen villain, Jeffrey Schmitt, as a brutal, semi-intelligent enforcer. Unlike mindless zombies, Zombie Hornet retained fragments of his personality, making him both dangerous and unstable. Emboldened by her success, Voodoo escalated her plans by raising Zombie Terror, a far more powerful and destructive undead entity. This resurrection required a massive ritual, drawing on multiple souls and nearly tearing open the barrier between life and death. Zombie Terror became the cornerstone of her intended apocalypse, a living symbol of her growing power. With her undead forces swelling, Voodoo launched a full-scale assault on the G-Men, seeking to plunge the world into a state where death reigned supreme. However, her ambitions ultimately led to her downfall. In a final confrontation, she faced Mummy Girl, a being who, like Voodoo, exists between life and death. Recognizing that Voodoo’s power was both immense and unstable, Mummy Girl made a desperate choice. Rather than destroy her, Mummy Girl absorbed Voodoo’s essence. The result was catastrophic. Voodoo’s physical form was destroyed, but her consciousness survived, merged within Mummy Girl. Now empowered by Voodoo’s necromantic abilities, Mummy Girl possesses unprecedented control over death itself… but at a terrible cost. Voodoo still lives inside her. And she is constantly fighting to take control.
