HISTORY

Roberto Martinez is the younger brother of Mateo Martinez, better known as Lynx. Raised in Washington, D.C., the brothers grew up close, but developed different ideas about family. Mateo believed family should be protected; Roberto believed it should be controlled. Roberto’s rebellious nature led him into crime. While Mateo became an Army Ranger, Roberto joined gangs and eventually went to prison for armed robbery. After his release, he became an enforcer and eventually worked with Adrián “El Jefe” Londoño. When Roberto discovered Mateo had become Lynx, he saw hypocrisy. Mateo had condemned him for violence, yet now wore a mask and fought criminals. Roberto adopted the identity Bobcat, creating a darker reflection of Lynx. Roberto believes Mateo abandoned him. He wants to destroy everything his brother has built and prove they are the same. Bobcat hides a devastating secret: he gave El Jefe the information that allowed him to kidnap Maya. Mateo doesn’t know his greatest enemy is his own brother.
