Steven A. Wilcox is an American comic book artist, illustrator, and cover artist whose work spans independent comics, licensed properties, and creator-owned projects. A lifelong comics fan and artist, Steven has cited creators including John Byrne, Alex Ross, Arthur Adams, Mike Mignola, Tim Bradstreet, and Jim Lee among the influences on his work.

Steven co-created, penciled, inked, and colored The Black Viper: Enemy of Evil. His professional comics work also includes interior art and variant covers for a range of independent publishers and licensed properties. His credits include Always Punch Nazis, Sink, Stabbity Bunny, and licensed Rick and Morty projects. Among his Rick and Morty work are retailer-exclusive covers for Rick and Morty #39 and Rick and Morty Presents: Krombopulos Michael #1.

Steven also illustrated the 2014 comic-book biography FAME: Tyler Perry. His more recent work includes cover and additional artwork for Tales of WLC #1 and variant-cover work for ComixTribe’s DIG #1. Across these projects, Steven has continued to build a body of work combining superhero illustration, horror, pop-culture properties, and independent comics.
