HISTORY
Joseph Santos Miller is a Navy SEAL officer. From an early age, he knew he was different. Darkness does not obscure his vision at night. Instead, he sees the darkness in shades of red and can even see clearly in deep, dark water. As a child, an accident at sea led to a week-long search for him and eventually to his being raised stateside. He never told anyone about the creature that saved him or the mysterious city of the lost.
Growing up, Joe trained under several martial artists. To his surprise, many invited him to train as if they already knew who he was. His ability to remain underwater for long periods has enabled him to save lives during special missions. When he is not on active duty, he works as a martial arts instructor. Joe lives with his mother, whom people call a dragon, which led to his nickname, the Son of the Dragon.
Called up as a G-Man, Joe Dragon usually handles occult missions as a silent knight against the forces of darkness. Sgt. Flag likes Joe but sometimes finds him boring. Still, he appreciates that Joe Dragon never gets in the way and quietly gets the job done.
POWERS & ABILITIES
It is rumored that Joe comes from a mythical clan in the Philippines. He possesses several abilities that have yet to be fully revealed, including the ability to see in darkness and hold his breath underwater for extended periods. He can also channel energy through his arnis sticks, focusing it at their tips. He calls the weapons the Fangs of Bakunawa, after the dragon-like creature that saved him when he was lost at sea as a child.
