HISTORY

Jorge attended Columbia Heights High School and was a stand-out baseball player. He was offered a minor league contract straight out of High School but was cut during the first season. Returning to Columbia Heights Jorge had no job prospects or job skills, he traveled through his neighborhood looking for work and chasing off the local street gang as a guardian angel protecting the local shopkeepers who he hoped might hire him out of gratitude.  Without work, he began asking the local shopkeepers for small donations to keep their shops safe with his brand of vigilante justice, some were happy to pay and grateful for the assistance, while others were not. Once he began to support himself as a vigilante, he went from asking for donations to demanding protection money to keep the shopkeepers safe. Later he decided it was unfair to the shopkeepers who paid to have other shopkeepers who did not pay get the same protection and he, therefore, took it upon himself to get rid of the deadbeat shopkeepers who refused to pay protection, because after all, he was keeping everyone safe.

Jorge felt he had been beaten up by life like a piñata, now as Hombre Piñata, he has had enough, and now he is going to be the one doing the beating. Wrapping his favorite baseball bat in barbed wire he was ready to clean up his neighborhood no matter how much it cost the local merchants.
