HISTORY

Mike studied molecular biology and genetics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After Aktion killed Dr. Haas, the FBI sought a new geneticist to study and document the powers and abilities of agents in the Caped Agent Program. When Peter Jameson was named Director of the FBI, he vastly expanded Mike Ovalle’s duties to include a complete genetic and physical evaluation of each applicant, as well as detailed notes about the applicant’s powers and abilities, how those powers work, and potential weaknesses.

POWERS & ABILITIES

Mike Ovalle has no superpowers, but as a geneticist, he studies how genes interact, evolve, and replicate in humans, animals, and plants. He focuses on genetic inheritance and how traits pass through multiple generations. Mike reviews data and results from genetic laboratory tests and works to diagnose and treat genetic diseases. Because genetics is a rapidly changing and highly technical field, staying current on the latest scientific advances and research is essential to his work.
