HISTORY

A young god, Borrum retains the brashness and enthusiasm of youth, seeking out adventure and challenges at every opportunity.
Born shortly before both the imprisonment of the thunder god Taranis, as well as the closing off of Avalorr from the mortal world, Borrum has taken every chance he can to prove his speed and skill to the older gods (see Gods of Avalorr, Taranis). Borrum has pitted his speed against any and all who were willing to race him, and has even outrun the Wild Hunt itself on one occasion.
Borrum’s closest friend is the blind god Boden, whose powers allow him to see beyond the barriers of Avalorr and into the greater multiverse, filling the young god’s mind with dreams of escaping his home’s forced isolation (see Boden).

POWERS & ABILITIES

Borrum possesses the normal superhuman physical attributes of a youthful male god, of Avalorr with one notable exception. Borrum possesses far greater speed, agility, and reflexes than any god born to his race. The speed at which he can move is what earned him his title, as it is said that he “moves as swift as the wind itself.” No other god is his equal in pure, unmatched speed. He can move so fast that he can perform feats of speed such as running across the surface of water, and up the sides of vertical structures, and with supreme effort, can even attain velocities high enough to allow him to pierce dimensional barriers, enabling him to travel between different realms such as Avalorr and Earth, despite the magical barriers erected between them. He has also adopted a unique fighting style that makes use of his speed, though his youth and relative inexperience in combat make him overconfident.
