HISTORY

Ariel Roswell and Dr. Stephen Rottman were working late at Rothländer Industries when a bolt of lightning crashed through a window and struck Dr. Rottman. As a result of the lightning strike, Dr. Rottman and Ariel were bathed in toxic chemicals. Dr. Rottman was turned into a living human skeleton, while Ariel was left comatose. Dr. Rottman spent months in the hospital recovering from his injuries but never regained a human appearance. Upon release from the hospital, Dr. Rottman abducted Ariel and took him back to his laboratory, determined to save his friend. That was the last time anyone ever saw Ariel Roswell’s human body. No one has ever explained what Dr. Rottman did to Ariel, but he no longer looks remotely human. After Dr. Rottman’s procedure, Ariel took to calling himself Ariel-51, embraced his new look, and reveled in the fact that he was “cute” for the first time in his life. When called upon, Ariel-51 and Dr. Rottman serve the Aryan Alliance’s scientific needs as a team, calling themselves the American Nightmares.

WEAPONS & PARAPHERNALIA

Dr. Rottman has converted a commercial drone into something that resembles a 1950s-style flying saucer. The saucer gives Ariel the mobility that his new, small frame has taken away.
