Mark Beachum is an American comic book artist, writer, painter, publisher, photographer, and filmmaker whose professional comics career began in the early 1980s. His distinctive figure work and dynamic storytelling have appeared across mainstream, independent, and mature-readers comics. Over the course of his career, he has worked for publishers including Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Continuity Comics, Impact Comics, Penthouse Comix, Heroic Publishing, Aja Blu Comix, AC Comics, Harris Comics, and NOW Comics.

At DC Comics, Mark’s early credits included Wonder Woman, The Huntress, New Talent Showcase, Elvira’s House of Mystery, and The Outsiders. At Marvel, he became particularly associated with Spider-Man, contributing interior art and covers to Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man and Web of Spider-Man. His Marvel work also includes Amazing Spider-Man Annual #20, Moon Knight, and Iron Man 2020. Working with writer Peter David, Mark co-created Ace, a Spider-Man adversary introduced during his run on The Spectacular Spider-Man.

Beyond Marvel and DC, Mark’s notable credits include Samuree for Continuity Comics, Vampirella, Penthouse Comix, Syphons, Flare, Razmataz, Alienzkin, and Supergurlz. His career has encompassed traditional comics illustration, painted artwork, publishing, photography, and filmmaking.

At G-Man Comics, Mark is a cover artist. He provided the main cover for Lynx #3.
